Happy Labor Day everyone! It's a holiday here in the US. I hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable day off. Here in the US, Labor Day normally signals the end of the summer season and the very beginning of autumn. Neighborhood pools close and those children not yet back in school will head there this week. Here in the KC area in the middle of the country, the weather isn't aware of the official summer ending declaration. We're under an intense heat wave. Yesterday my beloved Kansas City Royals announced that every game of their recent 10 game home stand was played with first pitch temperatures exceeding 95F at *every* game.
Hopefully things cool off soon. I'm taking the day off today, but will return to normal posting tomorrow. Enjoy your time off!
