Kevin Henry is Now at Dental Products Report!!!

Kevin Henry.jpg
Over the years, I've developed a lot of friends & colleagues that are part of my "second job" in dentistry.
First & foremost, I'm a general dentist in private practice.  Dentistry is the only thing I've ever wanted to be part of and being a dentist is the greatest career in the world for me.
My "half job" is Peer Review combined with clinical research and product development.
The true "second job" or, as I like to humorously refer to it, "my night shift" is Technology Editor for Dental Products Report magazine.  I've always loved to write and I love the team at DPR.  In the dental industry, there are none finer.
So what does this have to do with the "friends & colleagues" I referred to above?
Well, as I said, I've been lucky enough to meet more than a few really great individuals over the years… and many of them are in the print part of this great profession.    Unfortunately there are many of those folks who, despite the fact we are good friends, never get a chance to work together due to the fact that we work for different publications.
However, sometimes the stars align and you just catch lightening in a bottle.  To that end, I'm absolutely thrilled to be able to tell readers of the blog that as of NOW, my good friend Kevin Henry and I will be working together at Dental Products Report!!!
Kevin and I have known each other for years and I really respect the guy, both personally and professionally.   We  have frequently gotten together at trade shows to just hang out and catch up (our most recent adventure was at the Eco-Dentistry Meeting where we crashed In-N-Out Burger), but we have always had that small divider between us that comes with working at competing publications.  I'm glad those days are now over.
Kevin and I had a nice long talk about where we'd like to go with the magazine and discussed some content ideas & projects.  I'm excited to get some of these things going & I know that readers of DPR and other Advanstar Dental Media publications are going to benefit from his expertise.  He's also a heck of a good lecturer.
So keep your eyes on the blog for updates as well as the pages of DPR to see what Kevin can do… you won't be disappointed!!!
