Docusign Makes Electronic Signatures Easy

For the last few months I've been using Docusign and have been very happy with it.
I  happen to use the app that runs on my iPad 3, but you can find an app for any device.
What I found, was that my busy life frequently has be on the go, but my speaking, consulting, and testing also require me to sign and return forms on a deadline.
In the "old days" I'd receive an email and folks would request that I print, sign, and fax back at my earliest convenience.  Unfortunately when I was on the road, my "earliest convenience" might have been anywhere from 2-5 days.  Not exactly efficient or expedient.
However, then I found Docusign and things got *much* easier.
I installed the app on my iPad 3 and then created a signature using my fingertip.  This signature is stored just for me in the app.
Now let me give you an example of just how amazing the whole process can be in my techie life...
Today I received a request for a signed contract.  The contract was emailed to me as a Word Doc attachment to a standard email.
In order to keep my life more organized and to have greater access to all of this type of info, I've begun storing lots of things in my Google Drive account.  This case was no exception.  I opened my Google Drive in a tab of my Chrome browser and dragged the Word Doc into the appropriate folder on Google drive.  Within seconds, the document was uploaded and now available to all of my devices.
I then took my iPad and opened the document from my Google Drive, made the necessary changes my typing, and closed the document knowing all of those changes were saved automatically.
On the iPad, I then selected "Open With" and chose Docusign.  I scrolled to the page that required my signature, tapped the "sign" button and  my signature appeared on the page.  I drug my signature to the appropriate area and then sized it so that it fit correctly.  I next chose "Done" and was given the option of emailing, which I accepted.  The document was converted into a pdf document and then empaled to the address I specified.
Time?  It took me less than 5 minutes.  I used no paper and the document was in the hands of the appropriate people almost immediately.  I also have a copy in Docusign on the iPad as well as in my Google Drive.
Docusign saves me tons of ti me and is * Free*.  It comes with my highest endorsement.  Check it out and see if you agree!
