Earlier this year, Toshiba announced that they had developed a 32gb NAND flash memory chip and were working on developing production. Well, in a startling development, they have now said they will begin shipping the chips in July if all goes well.
These small chips will allow tiny devices to increase their memory while not ruining the form factor. Think of tiny phones and music players with tons of memory.

An excellent piece of technology by the sounds of it, but what effects will it have on traditional practice of dentistry?
ReplyDeleteIn the short term, there probably will not be much of an effect. In the long term, these chips will allow smaller footprint computers for those whose space is at a premium.
