Portable ECG unit for Offices & Mobile Practices

This is GE Healthcare’s MAC 800 portable ECG system. The device recently received FDA approval. It has all the features of a full sized unit, but weighs in at around 7 pounds including the battery. At that weight, and with a built-in handle, the device truly is mobile. The Li Ion battery provides 2 hours of use and will fully recharge in 4 hours. Data can be transfered via SD card, serial port, or over the office network. It will output data in either XML or PDF format for universal storage and data retrieval.

No word on the cost, but if you have a need for a portable ECG, this one should do nicely.
