Is Sprint capping EvDO access to 5GB per month?

SPRINT BRAND LOGO I ran across an interesting bit of information lately.  Sprint has, for years, offered an "unlimited" plan to use their EvDO wireless broadband service.  Basically it means pay your bill and you can download or upload as much data as you'd like/need.  With my travel schedule I was one of the early adopters that purchased a "wireless card" to give me broadband access everywhere I traveled.  I love EvDO it is fast and definitely more secure than wireless.

Now I'm reading rumors that Sprint has decided to cap its "unlimited" plan at 5GB per month.  In today's always on environment, 5GB per definitely doesn't sound like "unlimited" to me.

If this turns out to be true, it will be another example of how Sprint just not "getting it" when it comes to customer service.
