Ancient Roman Multi-tool

GR.1.1991(2).jpg
This is high tech from way back in the day. This is a utensil from the days of the Roman armies.  When I saw it, I just had to do a post on it.
This device is 88mm tall and 155mm long and dates from between A.D 201 to A.D. 300
It is an "eating implement, folding, with three-pronged fork, spatula, pick, spike and knife".  I'm guessing this was probably the early version of the Roman Army Leatherman.

  1. This ancient Roman multi-tool is kinda scary. And I think, if we will still use this kind of stuff, it will really break our jaws and teeth. Eating is very essential to our lives, and admit it or not, we do all love to eat. But eating so much can really cause some dental problems. Twice a year, I make it a point to consult a dentist. In Jackson, Tn there are a lot of great dentists. Jackson, Tn people are conscious about their teeth, so they always go to some dental specialists for proper dental care.
