Baby Bottles Cleaned by Ultraviolet Light

UV light can be a great adjunct to removal of bacteria. Sonicare has been using the idea for a while now with the Flexcare toothbrush that comes with a UV sterilizer built into the charging base. Earlier this year the VioLight company came to market with a counter top sterilizer unit that fits all toothbrushes.

Now I've come across this great idea for using UV light to sterilize baby bottles. Called the Pureray, the idea is simple. After the bottle is washed, it fits onto a stand that floods the chamber with UV light thus killing the bacteria.

No word on the availability, but this is a pretty interesting idea. Parents or parents to be, take note! Check the website for more info.
